Calling all…

chem-friendly queers

chill hosts

nightlife collectives

awareness workers

narcosexuals

chemsex veterans

pleasure activists

harm reductionists

We’ve all had some fantastical experiences in the club — but this one might be new: Ever compared notes on sex & drugs on the dance floor… with a doctor?

chemfriendly? brings together the chemsex community and the professionals attending Chemkon, Berlin’s first chemsex conference — at the club, where we know conversations get real and strangers can connect in so many ways.

We’re taking over SchwuZ for a few hours for a casual weekend warmup blending art, health care, academia and afterparty vibes.

On stage, we’ll inspire you with engaging performances and honest discussions around sex & drugs, pleasures & risks, care & support,… but don’t think lengthy conference panel — more like our chats in the stall or at the chill.

The real magic might just happen in the crowd, as different scenes and perspectives mix and mingle. Are you in?

We’d to have you!

Awareness & nightlife collectives

You set the scene, creating and nurturing spaces where substance use & sex might happen, and working to make them safer and more inclusive. This is your chance to network with folks from many different backgrounds who share your passion for harm reduction.

Chill hosts & enthusiasts

Whether you organize or regularly attend private chills, your experience matters. You’ve been there when it was magical — and also when things went wrong. Join us to share & exchange best practices, ideas and advice on creating safer, more fun environments for everyone involved.

Veterans of the scene

You’ve seen it all and been through all the stages: You’ve learned what works, when it’s too much, and how to course-correct. Maybe you’ve interacted with support systems of varying effectiveness. Your wealth of lived experience would be useful to many! (But please do check in with yourself whether the event might risk triggering you.)

Why it matters #1

Nothing about us without us!

In their jobs, chemsex professionals (counselors, social workers, therapists, doctors, researchers, etc.) most often encounter those of us who seek support — not a representative sample.

This event will paint a broader picture, helping ensure that their efforts for our community are as well-informed, stigma-free and effective as possible.

Why it matters #2

They come in peace

Facing marginalization on multiple fronts, many in our community don’t have high hopes that “professionals” would be knowledgeable or accepting of our alternative lifestyles.

Tonight, we’re gathering those who are on our side. Often queer themselves, they meet people where they’re at, instead of pathologizing chemsex or preaching abstinence. They have experience helping people reach goals they set for themselves. Come see for yourself!

Why it matters #3

When worlds collide…

One thing’s for sure: This event will spark conversations that wouldn’t happen otherwise. We believe this is how we can…

  • Expand our horizons
  • Spread practical, life-saving info
  • Challenge stigma and break down taboos
  • Build a stronger and more compassionate community in nightlife, health care and beyond!

LET’S COME TOGETHER

Join us in creating a radical space of mutual understanding, harm reduction and community care. Come for the show, stay for the dialogue — and leave with fresh perspectives on how we party, how we heal and how we support each other.

Start your weekend with some reflection & inspiration — we’ll be done in time for you to turn theory into practice at Power Dance Club, Piepshow or wherever else the night takes you…
